North GA—The North Georgia Health District is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Environmental Health website, designed to better serve the community and enhance public awareness about environmental health issues. The new platform, accessible at www.nghd.org/eh, offers comprehensive information and resources aimed at promoting a healthier environment for all residents, including  how to contact environmental health offices in Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, and Whitfield counties.

Visitors can easily find resources related to permits, inspections, and community programs that focus on safeguarding public health and the environment.

The North Georgia Health District is part of the Georgia Department of Public Health. This District is comprised of six counties including Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, and Whitfield. Many programs and services exist throughout the district, all of which are designed to meet the needs of the people of North Georgia.
